† From the GeForce 8800 GS on, the video card is based on the PCI Express 2.0 connection, which doubles the available I/O bandwidth from 2.5 GB/s to 5 GB/s, if a PCI Express 2.0 motherboard is used. From the GeForce GTX 670 on, the video card is based on the PCI Express 3.0 connection, which increases the available I/O bandwidth from 5 GB/s to 8 GB/s, if a PCI Express 3.0 system is used. The GeForce GT 630 OEM, the GeForce GT 640, and the GeForce GT 640 OEM with 128-bit memory bus also use the PCI Express 3.0 connection.

†† From the GeForce 8 series on, the graphics chip uses two clocks: the higher one is used by the shader processors and the lower one is used by the rest of the chip.

* The manufacturer can setup a different memory clock rate or interface, so pay attention because not all video cards based on this chip have this spec. The memory transfer rate will depend on the interface and clock rate used.

** This video card uses two graphics processors in parallel (SLI mode). The specs published are for just one of the chips.

(TC) means TurboCache. TurboCache is a technology that allows the video card to simulate more video memory by using part of the main system RAM as video memory. Read our tutorial on this subject for a better understanding on this feature.
