Aquagate Mini from Cooler Master is an entry-level water cooling system, targeted to users that want a high-end cooling solution but don’t want to go through the hassle of building their own water cooling system. Aquagate Mini comes with all its parts (radiator, pump, block, reservoir and cooling liquid) already assembled and all you have to do is install it on your CPU and attach its radiator to your case to have a fully operational water cooling system.

This product can be found in two versions, R80 with an 80 mm fan and radiator, and R120, with a 120 mm fan and radiator. 120 mm fans are obviously bigger than 80 mm fans and since they produce a higher airflow they can rotate at a lower speed, thus making less noise than 80 mm fans. In theory fans rotating at lower speeds have a higher life span.
In Figure 2, you can see R120 model. As we mentioned, the system comes already assembled. As you can see, the product comes with several socket adapters, allowing it to be installed on sockets 478, 775, 603, 604, 478, 462, 754, 939 and 940, covering all CPUs available on the market today.

In Figure 4 you see its block, which integrates its pump, reservoir and the block itself.

The base of the block is made of copper, as you can see in Figure 5.

As we mentioned, the only difference between R80 and R120 models is the size of the fan and of the radiator. In Figure 6 you can check the fan and radiator from R80 model.

Aquagate Mini from Cooler Master seems to be the right choice for users that want a high-end cooling system for their CPUs but don’t want to face the hassle of getting a screwdriver and assembling their own water cooling system from scratch.
We think the price is right. The suggested price is around USD 99 and even though we couldn’t find this product on Pricewatch, on Shopping.com it is quoted between USD 75 and USD 105, a really good price for a water cooling system.
We found the two pipes used by the system somewhat short, and maybe this system won’t fit inside big 5-bay cases with a lot of stuff installed inside, especially if you have a big video card. On the other hand it should fit perfectly all other kind of cases.
