Double Data Rate, 333 MHz
DDR-SDRAM memory chips certified to operate up to 166 MHz. Since this kind of memory works transferring two data per clock cycle, it achieves a performance as if it were working at 333 MHz, even though it doesn’t work under this clock rate. DDR-DIMM modules using DDR333 memory chips are called PC2700.
