Megahertz

1 megahertz equals to 1 million cycles per second.

A 1 MHz signal means that it has 1 million of cycles per second.

The duration of a single cycle is called period and is the inverse of the signal frequency. In a 1 MHz signal, each cycle lasts 1 microseconds (1 microsecond equals to 0.000001 second).
