Organic Pin Grid Array

OPGA is a kind of integrated circuit packaging using an organic material (fiberglass). It is a variation of PGA packaging. The integrated circuit is squared with terminals on its bottom.

The use of fiberglass allowed the fabrication of processors that are thinner, cheaper and with lower power consumption.

On the picture below you see an example of a microprocessor using OPGA packaging.
