Infrared bus that allows communication between wireless devices and the PC: printers, cell phones, notebooks and PDAs.

There are two standards: 1.0, with transfer rates up to 115,200 bps and 1.1, with tranfer rates up to 4,194,304 bps (4 Mbps).

Transmittions can be full-duples (both devices can transmit and receive data at the same time) or half-duples (only one device can transmit data per turn).
