Video RAM

(1) Kind of memory targeted to video cards that has two ports. This feature allows it to be written by the system processor at the same time that the graphics chip is reading it. Usually memory chips have just one port and just one device can read or write data per time.

(2) A synonym for video memory, a RAM memory that is physically located on the video card.
