Double Data Rate, 400 MHz

DDR-SDRAM memory chips certified to operate up to 200 MHz. Since this kind of memory works transferring two data per clock cycle, it achieves a performance as if it were working at 400 MHz, even though it doesn’t work under this clock rate. DDR-DIMM modules using DDR400 memory chips are called PC3200.
