Introduction
Extreme Spirit II (CL-C0034) is Thermaltake’s latest release: an all-copper north bridge cooler, featuring a heat-pipe that, according to the manufacturer, can be installed on any north bridge chip. Let’s take a look on it.
As you can see on the pictures below, the cooler fan is perpendicularly installed in relation to its base, cooling down its small heatsink. This product has two heat-pipes that connect its base to its heatsink.

According to Thermaltake, the base clip is universal, compatible with all north bridge chips and motherboards available on the market. What makes this product unique is that its clip can be freely rotated. This means that you can change the position of its fan/radiator if a video card or a hard disk drive touches it.

Conclusions
This cooler seems to be a great idea for die-hard overclockers. Its construction is terrific and the material used (copper) is top notch. The universal clip works nicely and as it can be rotated if your VGA or hard disk drive touches the cooler, you will have just to rotate it to a different position. Its blue light will also please people that have a case with an acrylic side window.
The only bad thing about this product is its price. Even though its is quoted between USD 21 and USD 24, when shipping cost is added it goes around USD 31.
