Inside X-Micro Mini DisGo 20 GB We opened X-Micro’s external compact hard disk drive to take a look. As you can see on Figure 3, it uses a Toshiba 1.8” 20 GB hard disk drive (MK2006GAL model).
A chip from ITE (IT8903BE) does the USB/IDE interface, as you can see on Figure 4.
The device uses a bicolored LED, which stays green when the drive is plugged to an USB port and turns into orange whenever the hard disk drive is accessed. Before going to our benchmark, let’s recap X-Micro Mini DisGo main specs. | |
