Introduction Aquagate Mini from Cooler Master is an entry-level water cooling system, targeted to users that want a high-end cooling solution but don’t want to go thru the hassle of building their own water cooling system. Aquagate Mini comes with all its parts (radiator, pump, block, reservoir and cooling liquid) already assembled and all you have to do is install it on your CPU and attach its radiator to your case to have a fully operational water cooling system.
This product can be found in two versions, R80 with an 80 mm fan and radiator, and R120, with a 120 mm fan and radiator. 120 mm fans are obviously bigger than 80 mm fans and since they produce a higher airflow they can rotate at a lower speed, thus making less noise than 80 mm fans. In theory fans rotating at lower speeds have a higher life span. On Figure 2 you can see R120 model. As we mentioned, the system comes already assembled. As you can see, the product comes with several socket adaptors, allowing it to be installed on sockets 478, 775, 603, 604, 478, 462, 754, 939 and 940, covering all CPUs available on the market today.
On Figure 3 you have a closer look on the radiator from R120 model.
