abit Announces AX78 Motherboard

Abit announced its first motherboard with native support for AMD Phenom quad-core processors. The abit AX78 is equipped with AMD 770 chipset and supports AMD Socket AM2+ / AM2 processors, up to 8 GB Dual Channel DDR2 1066 memory, 2 PCI Express 2.0 x16, 10 USB 2.0 ports and CrossFire X. The integrated high definition audio is scalable up to 7.1 channels for a fully cinematic surround sound soundscape. It also features 4 x SATA 3Gb/s support RAID 0/1/0+1.
