Zalman Announces CNPS12X CPU Cooler

Zalman has officially announced the CNPS12X, a CPU cooler that features no less than three fans. It was first shown to the public at this year's Computex.

The CNPS12X uses three 120 mm fans (with blue LEDs) with speeds varying between 850 and 1,200 rpm and noise level between 22 and 24 dBA. It has six nickel-plated copper heatpipes in direct contact with the CPU, weighs 2.2 lbs (1 kg), and is compatible with Intel (sockets 775/1155/1156/1366/2011) and AMD (sockets AM2(+)/AM3(+)/FM1) processors.

Zalman did not provide information on pricing or availability.
