XFX has launched the Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition, a factory-overclocked video card equipped with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory (the reference model features 2 GB). The new card comes inside a sniper-rifle-shaped enclosure, works internally at 850 MHz (17.24% above the stock clock of 725 MHz), accesses its memory at 4.8 GHz QDR (20% above the stock clock of 4 GHz QDR) through two 256-bit interfaces (512-bit), and features six mini-DisplayPort connectors. Did you like it? Well, be prepared because this beast costs USD 1,200.
