WD Launches Its Highest Capacity Desktop Hard Drive

Today, Western Digital announced its highest capacity desktop hard drive, the WD Black 4 TB (3.5”, 7,200 rpm, model WD4001FAEX). WD Black hard drives feature 64 MB cache, dual stage actuator technology, SATA-600 interface, and an integrated dual processor to deliver ultimate performance in a maximum-capacity drive.
Manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the WD Black 4 TB drive is USD 339.00.
