By Cássio Lima on May 20, 2009 - 2:51 PM

In cooperation with Trend Micro, Transcend has devised a USB flash memory that comes with a preloaded antivirus program. Called JetFlash V15, this new USB memory is able to scan all the files stored on it and alert the user of any malicious programs, like viruses, spyware etc. The only drawback is that the antivirus is a 90-day trial program and people interested to keep this functionality will have to pay for it after this period. JetFlash V15 is available in 4 GB and 8 GB capacities. There’s no word on pricing and availability.
