Transcend has launched a server DDR3 memory modules line-up equipped with thermal sensors. This allows the motherboard to monitor the temperature of each memory module and adjust the memory clock accordingly, ensuring the best possible system performance while at the same time protecting DRAM modules from crash and burn. Transcend's sensor-equipped memory modules are available in 1,066 MHz and 1,333 MHz clocks with CL7 and CL9 timings, respectively. No word on pricing and availability.
