Toshiba Announces Enterprise-Class SSD Drives

Toshiba has announced their newest family of enterprise-class solid state drives, the MKx001GRZB. Available in capacities of 100 GB, 200 GB, and 400 GB, the 2.5” MKx001GRZB drives make use of 32-nm SLC memory chips, have SAS-600 interface, and provides read and write speeds of 510 MB/s and 230 MB/s, respectively. These drives will enter mass production in the first half of 2011.
