Thermaltake Launches Frio Extreme CPU Cooler
By Cássio Lima on January 2, 2012 - 1:57 PM

Today, Thermaltake launched a CPU cooler that was previously displayed last year at the Computex 2011. The Frio Extreme has a thermal dissipation of 250 W, two 140 mm fans rotating between 1,200 rpm and 1,800 rpm, and a fan speed controller with an analog knob and a switch for easily making the fans spin at their highest speed. Each fan is attached to a separate heatsink, and the heatsinks are interconnected using six nickel-plated copper heatpipes. The Frio Extreme is compatible with Intel (sockets LGA2011, 1366, 1155, 1156, and 775) and AMD (sockets FM1, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, and AM2) processors.
