SuperTalent Introduces Industrial Grade 1.8” SSD

SuperTalent has just announced another line-up of SSD drives designed to perform in extreme conditions, such as industrial environments. The new MasterDrive KX3 drives have been specially designed to withstand operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. Just to put things into perspective, ordinary SSD drives work in environments from 0°C to 70°C.

SuperTalent MasterDrive KX3 drives are available in 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB versions, come in a 1.8” form factor, feature MLC flash memory chips, a metal enclosure, a SATA-300 interface, and provide maximum read and write speeds of up to 250 MB/s and 140 MB/s, respectively.
