Super Talent Intros UltraDrive MX SSD Series

Super Talent has introduced the UltraDrive MX series of 2.5” SSD drives. Available in 60 GB, 120 GB, 240 GB, and 480 GB capacities, these new Super Talent SSD units make use of MLC flash memory chips, have SATA-300 and mini-USB interfaces, and are controlled by a JMicron 616 chip, providing read and write speeds of up to 250 MB/s and 180 MB/s, respectively. The UltraDrive MX drives will begin shipping on September 1st. Information on pricing has not been provided.
