Silicon Power has introduced their first SATA-600 SSD drives, the Velox V30 series. These drives are available in 60 GB, 120 GB, 240 GB, and 480 GB versions, come in a 2.5” form factor, support TRIM, feature a SandForce controller, are shock- and vibration-proof, and provide maximum read and write speeds of up to 550 MB/s and 500 MB/s, respectively.
