Silicon Power Launches E20 SSD Series

The Taiwanese company Silicon Power has launched their latest series of SSD drive, the E20, which is available in 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB models. These new drives come in a 2.5” form factor, feature MLC memory chips, SATA-300 interface, have a built-in DDR2 cache memory, and provide a maximum read and write speeds of up to 250 MB/s and 230 MB/s, respectively. Silicon Power’s E20 drives also have current sensors to detect fluctuating or abnormal current in order to protect your data, and SMART (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology), a technology to monitor the health of your SSD drive. Information on pricing was not provided.
