Seagate has introduced the Constellation.2, a 2.5” enterprise-class hard drive that features either SAS-600 or SATA-600 interface, operates at 7,200 rpm, has 64 MB of cache and self-encrypting technology, and is offered in capacity choices of 250 GB, 500 GB, and 1 TB. Constellation.2 drives are shipping now to OEMs and distribution channels.
