Seagate Also Launches USB 3.0 External Hard Disk

After Western Digital, now it’s Seagate’s turn to bring out to the market a USB 3.0 external hard disk. BlackArmor PS110 (ST905003BPA1ES-RK) is a 2.5” model with 500 GB of storage space, spins at 7,200 rpm, measures 0.49” x 3.15” x 5.12” or 12.5 cm x 8 cm x 13 cm (H x W x L), weighs 0.39 lbs (178 g) and is priced in the USA at USD 179.99. This disk comes with a USB 3.0 ExpressCard adapter for laptops. According to Seagate BlackArmor PS110 offers an average transfer rate of 100 MB/s (USB 3.0) and 30 MB/s (USB 2.0).
