By Alessandra Carneiro on February 15, 2007 - 9:42 AM

SanDisk has released a new version of its iNAND flash drive, compatible with a standard issued by the JEDEC JC-64.1. This new JEDEC compatibility allows iNAND to more readily connect to applications using this common standard. The idea is a flash memory to ease integration of high-capacity storage in Handsets and Other devices. It soon will be available in capacities of up to 8 GB.
