Samsung Intros 1.5 TB EcoGreen Hard Disk

Samsung has extended its EcoGreen F2EG hard disk line-up with the addition of a 1.5 TB model (featuring three 500 GB platters). According to Samsung this disk consumes 45% less power (during normal operation) than competing products. This disk has a SATA-300 interface and 32 MB buffer. Samsung EcoGreen F2EG is also available in 500 GB and 1 TB capacities.

The 1.5 TB EcoGreen F2EG has a recommended price tag of USD 149.
