Samsung has just announced the launch of its newest hard disk drive line-up target to desktops, Spinpoint F3. Available in 500 GB and 1 TB capacities, new Samsung disks have SATA-300 interface, spin at 7,200 rpm, have a 32 MB buffer (500 GB model has a 16 MB buffer), make use of 500 GB platters and support Native Command Queuing (NCQ) technology. 500 GB model is now available on the market, but 1 TB model will only reach the market next month. No word on pricing.
