PowerColor Officially Intros Radeon HD 6870 X2

Today, PowerColor officially launched a video card that we’ve seen as a prototype during Computex 2011.

The Radeon HD 6870 X2 is equipped with two graphics chips and 2 GB GDDR5 (1 GB per chip). It runs at the default clock rates (900 MHz for the GPUs and 4.2 GHz for the memory), and features a dual-slot cooler with two fans and five copper heatpipes, a 13-phase voltage regulator circuit, and comes with two DVI, one HDMI 1.4, and two mini DisplayPort 1.2 connectors.

The Radeon HD 6870 X2 is priced at USD 449.
