PowerColor Announces PCS+ HD5800 Cards

PowerColor has just announced PCS+ HD5870 (AX5870 1GBD5-PPDH) and PCS+ HD5850 (AX5850 1GBD5-PPDH) video cards. Both come with factory overclocking and use a propriety cooler (four copper heatpipes and one 92-mm fan) that according to the manufacturer is more efficient than AMD/ATI stock cooler used by Radeon HD 5800 cards. PCS+ HD5870 is based on Radeon HD 5870 GPU, works internally at 875 MHz (2.94% above stock clock of 850 MHz), has 1 GB GDDR5 accessed at 4.9 GHz QDR (2.08% above stock clock of 4.8 GHz QDR) through a 256-bit interface and features two DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort connectors. PCS+ HD5850, on the other hand, is based on Radeon HD 5850 GPU, works internally at 760 MHz (4.83% above stock clock of 725 MHz), has 1 GB GDDR5 accessed at 4.2 GHz QDR (5% above stock clock of 4 GHz QDR) through a 256-bit interface and also features two DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort connectors. Buying one of these cards you also take home Dirt 2 game. No word on pricing and availability.
