By Cássio Lima on October 20, 2010 - 1:13 PM

Patriot has expanded their lineup of DDR3 memories with the launch of the Viper Xtreme Series Extreme Performance DDR3 memory kits, which make use of heatspreads built with an extruded aircraft-grade aluminum and an inner copper strip (0.21 oz or 6 g per module) to improve heat dissipation. Two kits were launched so far: 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) and 8 GB (2 x 4 GB). Both work at 2,000 MHz with 9-10-9-27 timings at 1.65 V. No word on pricing.
