Patriot has launched its Inferno series of 2.5” SSD drives. Available in 100 GB and 200 GB capacities, these new Patriot SSD units feature SATA-300 interface, make use of a SandForce SF-1222 controller and provide read and write speeds of up to 285 MB/s and 275 MB/s. No word on pricing and availability.
