OCZ, the owners of PC Power & Cooling, has just launched the Silencer Mk III 1,200 W power supply (PPCMK3S1200).
The Mk III features a single +12V rail, Japanese capacitors rated at 105°C, 80 Plus Platinum certification, a modular cabling system, a dual ball bearing 140 mm fan, and a new feature, dubbed Dual Thermal Control System, that allows the user to switch the PSU between normal and silent mode seamlessly.
According to OCZ, the Mk III 1,200 W maintains continuous, stable output at a 50°C ambient temperature.
