By Cássio Lima on April 26, 2011 - 4:21 PM

OCZ has expanded their Vertex 3 family of SSD drives with the launch of the Vertex 3 Max IOPS models. Contrary to the regular Vertex 3 drives that offer up to 60,000 IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second), the Vertex 3 Max IOPS models provide up to 75,000 IOPS.

The Vertex 3 Max IOPS drives use a SandForce SF-2200 controller, have SATA-600 interface, and are available in pre-order for USD 296.99 (120 GB) and USD 556.99 (240 GB).
