Noctua to Offer Free Mounting Kit for LGA1155 Processors
By Cássio Lima on November 30, 2010 - 1:05 PM

Noctua announced today that owners of their older CPU coolers who wish to upgrade to Intel’s upcoming Sandy Bridge processors (LGA1155 socket) will be able to obtain the appropriate mounting kit (NM-I3 SecuFirm2) free of charge. To take advantage of this, users will have to prove ownership (photo, scan or screenshot of the sales receipt) of both a Noctua CPU cooler and either a socket 1155 motherboard or LGA1155 processor. Kudos to Noctua!
