New SSD Series from Corsair

Corsair has announced today the launch of two 2.5” SSD series: Reactor and Nova. Reactor units are available in 60 GB and 120 GB capacities, are controlled by JMicron JMF612 chip, use MLC chips, have 128 MB DDR2 cache, SATA-300 and USB 2.0 connectivity and provide read and write speeds of up to 250 MB/s and 170 MB, respectively (60 GB model provides write speed of up to 110 MB/s). Nova units are available in 64 GB and 128 GB capacities, are controlled by Indilinx Barefoot chip, use MLC chips, have 64 MB cache, SATA-300 interface and provide read and write speeds of up to 270 MB/s and 195 MB/s, respectively. No word on pricing and availability.
