Gigabyte has launched three new motherboards supporting quad-core AMD Opteron processors codenamed “Barcelona”:
- GA-3CESL-RH is a motherboard targeted to the server market and is equipped with NVIDIA nForce Professional 3600 MCP chipset, two PCI Express x16 slots, one PCI Express x8 slot (working at x4), two standard PCI slots, six SATA ports supporting RAID 0/1/5 and one ATA/100 port.
- GA-3CCWV-RH is a motherboard targeted to the workstation market and is equipped with NVIDIA MCP55 pro chipset, one PCI Express x16 slot, one PCI Express x8 slot (supporting SLI x8 mode), one PCI-X slot, one standard PCI slot, six SATA ports supporting RAID 0/1/10/5 and one ATA/133 port.
- GA-3CCWL-RH has the same basic specifications as GA-3CCWV-RH, except for the PCI-X slot, but on the other hand GA-3CCWL-RH has an x4 PCI Express slot.
