By Alessandra Carneiro on February 22, 2008 - 12:04 PM

NVidia has released the new GeForce 9 series. The 9600GT GPU supports DirectX 10 and the latest HD-DVD and Blu-ray. It offers 650 MHz core clock speed and 1625 MHz shader clock speed. The graphic cards with GeForce 9600GT supports 512 MB 256-bit memory runnig at 900 MHz. The new GeForce has a price tag of less than USD 199. That low cost makes it valuable to use two 9600GT with SLI technology instead of one single 8800 GTX.
