NVIDIA Launches GeForce 8800 GT

The NVIDIA launches its new chip GeForce 8800 GT today. Cheaper than 8800 GTS, the video card announced by NVIDIA will be the first to use PCI Express 2.0 slot and it is recommended for the latest next-generation DirectX 10 games. The new card comes with 112 stream processors, 256-bit memory interface running at 900MHz and GPU speed is set at 600MHz. GeForce 8800 GT-based graphics cards are available now from add-in card manufacturers, retailers, and system builders.
