Manufacturers Launch GeForce 9600 GT “Green”
By Cássio Lima on March 4, 2009 - 5:30 PM

Zotac and Sparkle have launched GeForce 9600 GT “Green” models, an eco-friendly video card that is 40% more power efficient than the regular model. GeForce 9600 GT “Green” works internally with a lower clock (600 MHz vs. 650 MHz on the original model; because of this GeForce 9600 GT “Green” consumes less and lacks the 6-pin PCI Express power connector) and accesses its 512 MB GDDR3 at 1,800 MHz DDR (900 MHz real) through a 256-bit interface. Below you can see the models launched by Zotac and Sparkle.
