Lian Li Launches Tyr PC-X1000 Full-tower Case

Lian Li has launched a full-tower case called Tyr PC-X1000. All built-up in aluminum, this new case features three 5 ¼” external bays (one of them can be converted to a 3 ½” bay), six 3 ½” internal bays and eight slots for expansion cards. Tyr PC-X1000 has several features like removable motherboard tray, watercooling support, anti-vibration mechanism for power supply, tool-less mechanisms for daughter cards, hard drives and motherboard installation, dust filter on the case base, no sharp edges where you could cut yourself while assembling the PC and is divided in chambers to improve airflow. As for cooling, Tyr PC-X1000 comes with Five 140-mm fans (1,200 rpm), three located on the front panel and two located on the rear panel. This case has four USB, one Firewire and one e-SATA connectors, besides the traditional audio jacks. According to Lian Li this case will reach the market later this month costing USD 420.
