Lenovo Announces the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch Ultrabook

Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Carbon ultrabook is now optimized for Windows 8 touch experience thanks to its new 14-inch touchscreen display. The X1 Carbon and X1 Carbon Touch are developed from carbon fiber that provides strength and durability beyond traditional notebook materials.
Weighing 3.4 pounds and only 20.8 mm thin, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch is powered by an Intel processor (Core i5 or Core i7) and comes with some features related to security and manageability, including Intel vPro, integrated fingerprint reader, Trusted Platform Module and BIOS encryption. Lenovo’s RapidCharge technology provides fast charge times, while the eight hours of battery life and optional 3G connectivity ensures maximum productivity virtually anywhere.
