KINGMAX Intros 1st 1 GB MicroSD With SLC

With more demand for data storage in mobile phones, manufacturers of memory cards have increase the capacity and speed of their products. KINGMAX has released a 1 GB MicroSD card, the first in the world to use SLC (single level cell) memory. This means that its read-write speeds beat all its MLC competitors. The read speed is up to 10.5 MB/s and the write speed is up to 8.9 MB/s. The second fastest 1 GB MicroSD on the market is the MLC Sandisk model with a 8.8 MB/s for read speed and 5.0 MB/s for write speed, according to KINGMAX test lab.
