Intel starts shipping Core 2 Quad Q6600, Xeon X3220 and X3210

Intel has started shipping three new quad-core processors: Core 2 Quad Q6600, Xeon X3220 and X3210. The  Q6600 runs at 2.40 GHz and has bus frequency of 1066 MHz. L2 cache size features 8 MB. It will be launched at USD 851 per unit in 1,000 unit quantities, but in the second quarter of the year the price will drop to USD 530.

The Xeon X3220 features core frequency of 2.40 GHz and bus frequency of 1066MHz. At the launch, it is priced at USD 851 per unit in 1,000 unit quantities, but it is expected to drop to USD 530 in the second quarter.

The Xeon X3210 is clocked at 2.13 Ghz, with bus frequency of 1066 MHz. Pricing USD 690 and USD 425 in the second quarter (per unit in 1,000 unit quantities).
