Intel Launches Xeon 5600 Series and Core i7-980X Processor

Intel has expanded its Xeon line-up with the launch of 5600 series, comprised with 32-nm (codename Westmere-EP) six- and four-core models. On the table below you can see the models launched and their main specs. Intel also officially launched today Core i7-980X, its first six-core processor for desktop.
