Intel Launches 120 GB X25-M SSD Drive

Intel has not only expanded its X25-M SSD series with the launch of a 120 GB model, but also lowered the suggested price tag of the 80 GB and 160 GB models of this same series to USD 199 and USD 415, respectively. The new 120 GB model has a 2.5” form factor, a SATA-300 interface, make use of MLC flash memory chips, and provides read and write speeds of 250 MB/s and 70 MB/s, respectively. It has a suggested price of USD 249.

Intel has also lowered the suggested price of the 40 GB X25-V SSD drive to USD 99.
