Intel Intros Dual-Core Celeron Mobiles CPUs

Intel has just launched its first dual-core Celeron processors targeted to the laptop market. Two models were launched: T1700 (internal clock of 1.83 GHz; USD 86 in 1000-unit tray quantities) and T1600 (internal clock of 1.66 GHz; USD 80 in 1000-unit tray quantities). These new processors are based on Core microarchitecture, have a shared 1 MB L2 cache, FSB of 667 MHz, 65-nm fabrication process and TDP of 35 W.
