HIS Unveils Radeon HD 4870 IceQ4+
By Cássio Lima on December 12, 2008 - 9:25 PM

HIS has increased its IceQ product line with the launch of two video cards based on Radeon HD 4870 GPU: Radeon HD 4870 IceQ4+ Turbo 512 MB (internal clock of 780 MHz and memory clock of de 4 GHz DDR) and Radeon HD 4870 IceQ 4+ Turbo 1 GB (internal clock of 770 MHz and memory clock of 4 GHz DDR). While “Turbo” goes for the factory-set overclocking function, “IceQ” goes for the big fan that video cards from this series from HIS uses, which helps removing hot air from inside your PC. These new cards are dual-slot solution, have 800 stream processors, 256-bit memory interface, CrossFireX support and DVI and S-Video connectors. Also, the cooler is sensitive to UV light, so it will grow if you have an UV lamp inside your case. No word on pricing was disclosed.
