Gigabyte has announced its first stand alone chassis, the 3D AURORA, promising easy accessibility and almost tool-free component installation. It includes up to five 5.25” and seven 3.25” bays with slide in slots. The case uses three 120 mm case fans: one at the front panel to suck air inside and two at the back to expel warm air. There is also support for liquid cooling systems. The body of the chassis is manufactured with 1 mm thick aluminum sheet metal with a nickel-plated back panel to reinforce rigidity. Two locks are located at the front and side panels. An additional feature that will attract case modders is the light beam that can be customized to project any image of choice. The 3D aurora will be available in early July. Pricing is yet unknown.
