This is the kind of news that will cheer up overclockers and enthusiasts. Gigabyte has just launched the GeForce GTX 470 Super Overclock Edition (GV-N470SO-13I), a video card that works internally at 700 MHz (15.13% above the stock clock of 608 MHz), and accesses its 1,280 MB of GDDR5 at 837 MHz (3,348 MHz QDR, the same as the stock clock). The GeForce GTX 470 Super Overclock Edition has several features, like a 14-phase voltage regulator circuit (12+2), voltage read points, and a cooler that features copper heatpipes and three fans. There’s no word on pricing or availability.
